Bahamian Style Conch Salad

  • Limes lots and lots of lime

  • Scotch Bonnet Pepper

  • Case of Conch

  • Sour Orange

  • Salt

  • Onions

  • Tomato

  • Bell Pepper


0. Prep work is the most of this the rest is fairly easy and there is no cook time

1. Cut up all your vegetables and conch, place on the side in a separate bowl

2. Squeeze a bowl full of lime juice (enough for the portion of conch you want to eat), set aside separate

3. In juice bowl add your conch, tomato, bell pepper, and onions

4. squeeze half of bitter orange over conch

5. add about 1/2 teaspoon of scotch bonnet pepper ( this is NOT necessary ONLY if you want it spicy)

6. Salt to taste

7. Serve
